Blueprint Lead

Blueprint Lead offers contractors two products, live call transfers and pre-set appointments. It is based in Los Angeles and works with contractors across the US, with California as its deepest coverage.

The readers are contractors deciding how they want new work to reach them. They build for a living, and they read marketing copy with a skeptical eye.

A contractor weighing a service like this wants two answers fast: how a live transfer differs from an appointment, and whether the service covers their trade where they build. They want both without booking a sales call.

Those questions now go to answer engines as well as to a search box. A page that hides its answer under marketing copy loses both kinds of reader, and an answer engine cannot quote what it cannot find.

We built the site around those questions. Each product and each of the five project types it lists has its own page, and a comparison page sets the two formats side by side. Coverage is organized by state, with pages for the California metros, and a library of guides answers what contractors ask before they choose, from what a live transfer is to handling appointment no-shows.

The home page opens on an animated architectural drawing: a floor plan draws itself, and a homeowner card lifts off the sheet as a transfer or an appointment.

Underneath the pages runs the GEO program, the answer-engine layer. An llms.txt at the root summarizes the site for answer engines, with a full-text version beside it. The home page leads with a dated short answer, and each guide opens with a definition box and puts an In short answer under its main headings. The structured data names the business as an Organization with its WebSite, adds FAQPage markup to the pages that answer questions, and adds Article and BreadcrumbList markup to the guides.

The site is live, and its pages lead with the answer: a reader gets the short version first, and an answer engine gets a clean passage to quote.
