How AI assistants answer for your kind of business
Type a kind of business and a place in Los Angeles to see how many businesses AI assistants named there, and what they cited.

How can I see what AI assistants answer for businesses like mine?
The AI visibility checker from Your Wish Is Our Code shows what AI assistants answered in its study when asked for the best business of a given kind in a part of Los Angeles. For each assistant it gives how many businesses were named, how many of those were cited with their own site, and the kinds of pages it cited. No business is named or ranked.
Check a kind of business and a place
The study's plan covers these kinds of business: med spa, dentist, orthodontist, dermatologist, chiropractor, physical therapist, plumber, electrician, HVAC company, roofer, landscaper, construction company, real estate agent, mortgage broker, personal injury lawyer, family lawyer, CPA, hair salon, nail salon, barber, gym, auto repair shop, wedding photographer, interior designer and moving company. Its places are Santa Monica, Pasadena, Sherman Oaks and Long Beach. It asks about them night by night, so some have answers before others. You can type other words too.
What the checker shows
- How many businesses each assistant named for the kind of business and the place you typed.
- How many of those it cited with their own site.
- The kinds of pages it cited, such as map services, Yelp, directories and review sites.
- The day each assistant was asked.
The answers come from a study Your Wish Is Our Code runs: an automated browser session, paced, logged out or on the agency's own account where an assistant needs one, asked each assistant in its own consumer app for the best business of a kind in a place, each prompt once, and stored the answer. The pairs asked so far are a part of the planned list, and the checker says when a pair is not in the study yet. The checker reads those stored answers. Pressing Check asks no AI service anything.
Read the figures with care
Each figure comes from one answer an assistant gave on the day shown. Assistants answer differently from day to day and from one person to the next, and their programming interfaces can answer differently from their apps, so asking again can name other businesses.
A business's own site counts only when the study recorded the assistant citing it in that answer. These are observations of what AI assistants answered, and the answers can be wrong; they are not a ranking of businesses or an endorsement of any.
Three things that help
A site of your own that says it plainly
Name the business, what it does and where, in the words a person would type, such as "dentist in Pasadena", not only a logo and a slogan.
The same details on Google and Yelp
Fill in your Google Business Profile and your Yelp page with the same name, address, phone number and hours as your site.
The pages the assistants read for your trade
Get listed, with those same details, on the directories and review sites people in your trade use, and ask customers who were happy to say so there.
Common questions
Does the checker ask the AI assistants when I press Check?
No. It reads answers the study already stored, each from the day it shows. Pressing Check sends the kind of business and the place you typed to our own systems, which look them up in the stored study. No AI service is asked, and nothing is looked up about your business.
Why does the checker show answers for a different place?
The study asks about a set of places across Los Angeles County, and it has not answered every kind of business at each of them yet. When it has no answers for the place you typed, the checker shows its answers for the same kind of business at the nearest place that has them, and says how far away that place is. When none is close enough, it says the pair is not in the study.
Why does the checker not say whether my business was named?
It shows counts and shares only, never the names an assistant gave. The study looks at how assistants answer for a kind of business in a place, so no business from it is named, ranked or linked on this site.
How does a business get named by AI assistants more often?
Start with the three things on this page, then keep your details the same everywhere they appear. Our GEO work covers the rest, from how your pages are written to where your business is mentioned.
