In short

The Launch site is our smallest website: 3 to 5 pages and a contact form that reaches you by email, built on code and accounts in your name with the SEO baseline on every page. Its price is in the written plan after a short call, and it goes live on a date we put in writing. Care after launch is optional.

What you get

A Launch site covers what a small business needs online first: what you do and how to reach you. It goes live in ten business days from the deposit, on a launch date we put in writing. Business days are Sunday to Thursday, and Friday until noon, Los Angeles time; a request after 1 p.m. (noon on Friday) counts from the next business day.

  • 3 to 5 pages
  • A contact form that reaches you by email
  • The SEO baseline: metadata, sitemap, structured data, fast pages
  • Live in ten business days from the deposit, the launch date in writing
  • One round of changes before launch
  • Launch on your own hosting, domain and card

How it goes

It starts with a short call about what the site has to say and who it is for. From that call we write the plan: the pages, the contact form, the price and the launch date. Nothing starts before the deposit clears.

You supply the words and photos for each page, and the pages arrive on a private preview link for you to check. One round of changes comes before launch. Then the site goes live on hosting and a domain in your name, and we stay on as an admin, never the owner.

Where it fits

The Launch site is the smallest of our four site tiers. Its fixed scope keeps the price at the low end, and the small footer credit is already counted in it; taking the credit off is a line on the proposal, as on every tier. Hosting and the domain run on your own accounts, at cost, and care after launch is optional.

When Starter is the right call

In short

Starter is the right call once you need more than five pages or an intake form with your own questions.

A Launch site stops at five pages and a contact form. A business that needs a page for each service, or a form that asks its own questions before a call, has outgrown it before it launches. Starter takes 5 to 12 pages and adds that intake form along with an accessibility check, and the written plan says which tier fits before you pay anything.

Common questions

What does a Launch site cost?

Projects start at $2,500. The Launch site is our smallest website, with the footer credit counted in, and the written plan states its price before you pay a deposit. Hosting and the domain are paid to the providers on your own card, at cost, and care after launch is optional.

How soon does a Launch site go live?

In ten business days from the deposit, on a launch date the written plan states before you pay anything. Having the words and photos for each page ready at the start keeps that date.

What makes the Launch site affordable?

Its scope. It stops at five pages and a contact form, with one round of changes before launch, so the work fits a fixed price. The code is written the way our larger sites are, for one business and in your name.

Can I start with a 3 page website?

Yes. Three pages is the smallest Launch site, often a home page, a page about the work and a contact page. A fourth and a fifth page come at the same price, and a sixth moves the site to Starter.

Can the footer credit come off?

Yes. The small "Built by" link in the footer is already counted in the Launch site's price, and taking it off is a line on the proposal, the same as on every tier. Care stays optional either way.

What happens after launch?

Bugs found in the first 30 days are fixed at no charge. After that, care is optional: Keep, the lightest plan, covers backups and updates with an hour of changes each month, and without a plan any change is priced in writing first.

Start with a written plan

Tell us about the business and what you need. We reply with questions, then a written plan that lists the work and its price, and nothing starts until you have read it.
